Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT is seeking a Senior Manager, Program Management to guide the Orion portfolio through its full lifecycle. You will lead the Integrated Project Team (IPT), own execution and business performance, and coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to meet commitments.

You will influence strategy, manage budgets, resources, and risks, and build relationships with customers and OEM partners to drive program outcomes and future growth.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
• Experience leading complex programs, products, or value streams in an aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated environment
• Working knowledge of program management systems and disciplines, including resource planning, integrated scheduling, cost controls, and earned value management

Responsibilities

• Lead the re-application of existing products and programs while supporting the introduction of new programs and capabilities across multiple product lines and services
• Manage product and program changes, including the implementation of new or enhanced functionality across assigned offerings
• Serve as a key point of contact for multiple customers and prospective customers, building strong relationships and helping ensure commitments are understood and delivered
• Influence and negotiate with internal teams and customers to align priorities, resolve challenges, and meet or exceed program commitments
• Lead complex, matrixed Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and guide decision-making across Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and other supporting functions
• Own the overall performance of assigned value streams, including cost, schedule, technical performance, delivery, and customer expectations
