Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking aSenior Manager Product Manager to own the lifecycle of Fixed Wing product lines within Power Transmission Systems. You will lead strategy, financial performance, and customer outcomes, owning the product roadmap and leading IPT across functions for on-time delivery.

The role is hybrid with significant on-site presence in the Rome, NY facility. Candidates should have extensive program or product management experience and a strong aerospace background.

Qualifications

• Must have program or product management experience.
• Experience with program management systems including manpower planning, scheduling, cost controls and EV M.
• Operations and production flow management including supply chain oversight.
• Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing techniques and technical requirements.
• Knowledge of aerospace contracts and proposal preparation.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap and lifecycle from development to production.
• Balance cost, schedule and performance; chair IPT keeping on-time delivery.
• Lead risk and opportunity management for production programs.
• Interface with customers to translate requirements and ensure successful completion.
• Manage contract lifecycle, cost, schedule and performance for major programs.
