RTX in Tucson is seeking a Business Manager for the AIM-9X Development Program Finance Team. You will oversee program cost controls, EACs, FP&A, and tie financial planning to program strategy.

The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to interact with senior leadership, PMO, and cross‑functional partners to drive financial objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with EVMS, EACs, or FP&A.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of financial analysts by providing support, mentorship, and training.
• Oversee earned value management and analyze program performance ensuring compliance with internal EVM policy and 10255.
• Develop quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs).
• Interface with the Program Management Office and Integrated Product.
• Leadership Team to ensure financial policy compliance.
• Support monthly pre‑close and month‑end close activities including risk and opportunity management.
• Support development of program‑level inputs for Monthly Forecasts, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Long Range Plan (LRP) objectives.
• Meet critical deadlines while managing multiple conflicting priorities.
• Apply strong analytical abilities to quickly interpret data and support informed business decisions.
• Prepare finance charts for Program Business Reviews, financial overviews, and other reporting needs.
• Participate in key leadership strategy reviews.
• Support program startup and baseline establishment activities.
