Job summary

Draper Labs in Cambridge, MA seeks a Senior Program Finance Analyst to provide financial acumen and performance metrics for mission-critical programs, using Earned Value and related program control methods to forecast cost and schedule.

You will collaborate with program managers, CAMs, and schedulers, help develop EACs, and communicate results to leadership while maintaining compliance with DoD regulations and FAR/DFARS.

Qualifications

• EVMS principles use in daily operations
• Knowledge of DoD program financial controls
• Knowledge of CAS/FAR/DFARS
• Knowledge of contract types: FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPIF, T&M
• Revenue recognition understanding
• Ability to present complex info to management
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Strong Excel skills
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• Multi-tasking and detail orientation
• Self-starter able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate metrics on schedule and cost using Earned Value or related processes
• Support baseline development and WBS/charge numbers
• Update and manage EVM requirements in ERP or Cobra
• Analyze variances to budget and assist with recovery plans
• Analyze risks & Opportunities to baseline cost/schedule/EAC
• Maintain Project-Activity Structure (Charge Numbers)
• Complete EAC process and time-phased EAC updates
• Develop and monitor program-level time-phased plan for revenue forecasting
• Provide financial data inputs for PMRs and QBRs
• Provide timely invoicing and collection of receivables
• Review and communicate status of program finances including funding status
• Perform other duties as assigned
