Job summary

CMS Energy is seeking a Senior Program Engineer in Michigan to oversee engineering disciplines and deliver projects from concept to completion. The role blends on-site work with remote collaboration, with required on-site days Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at Parnall, One Energy Plaza, or a Generating Facility.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree with 4+ years in a program engineer capacity.
• Or non-ABET degree with a Professional Engineer license and 4+ years in a program engineer capacity.

Responsibilities

• Support Agile project delivery by balancing team performance with deadlines.
• Develop specifications for required project equipment.
• Monitor compliance with applicable codes, standards, QA/QC policies, and performance requirements.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions.
• Provide technical assistance and support to project managers and other stakeholders.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
• Assign responsibilities and mentor project team members.
• Build partnerships with business stakeholders and understand their objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.
