The role focuses on planning, scheduling, and estimating for energy and utility projects, partnering with project teams to deliver reliable estimates and integrated schedules. You will mentor estimators and schedulers, develop recovery approaches for schedule risks, and provide coaching on controls practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of relevant project controls, scheduling, estimating, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, cost and resource loading, critical path analysis, and schedule performance evaluation.
• Working knowledge of financial and economic analysis, project management, and risk management.
• Proficiency with project management software, spreadsheets, word processing, and presentation tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams, support multiple stakeholders, and manage shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and maintain project estimates and integrated schedules.
• Build master and detailed schedules incorporating milestones, work breakdown structures, activity dependencies, costs, labor, equipment, and resource leveling.
• Monitor project progress and communicate changes affecting completion dates.
• Analyze critical path impacts, delays, and schedule changes; develop recovery schedules and alternative approaches.
• Prepare progress reports, trending charts, schedule analyses, and forecasts.
• Verify the accuracy and credibility of estimating and scheduling information.
• Support the preparation of project time and cost claims.
• Develop and improve project controls methods, standards, procedures, tools, and templates.
• Maintain historical project data and document lessons learned.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and training to project teams and estimating/scheduling personnel.
