Job summary

Consumers Energy is seeking a Senior EPC Project Manager to oversee complex utility projects in Michigan. The role requires coordinating internal and external teams through planning, design, execution and commissioning while managing scope, budget, and schedule.

Hybrid work with required onsite days; relocation may be available. Bachelor’s in Applied Engineering or related field with 4+ years of PM experience is expected, PMP within two years is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Applied Engineering or Relevant Field with 4+ years in project management or similar.
• Associate Degree with 6+ years in Applied Engineering or related field and project management experience.
• High School Diploma or GED with 8+ years in Applied Engineering or related field and project management experience.
• PMP certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial forecasts and reconcile resources and expenditures to keep projects within budget.
• Lead internal and external project teams through planning, design/engineering, execution and commissioning.
• Develop and manage overall execution plans with schedule, budget, risk and communications.
• Integrate safety, regulatory and environmental standards into all project activities.
• Presentations and communications with leadership, stakeholders and external parties.
