Job summary

Accenture Construct seeks a seasoned program leader to manage end-to-end delivery of major rail and transit infrastructure projects. You will oversee design-build and alternative delivery contracts, guiding executive-level coordination with clients, regulators, and partners.

You will drive contract governance, risk management, and performance reporting while leading multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in the management and delivery of major rail and transit infrastructure projects of comparable size and complexity, preferably within the NYC metro area.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required – New York strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and overall management of all project phases including pre-construction, procurement support, construction, testing, and commissioning.
• Oversee multiple design-build and/or alternative delivery contracts, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Serve as the primary liaison with client executive leadership, project controls, legal, and third-party stakeholders, including local jurisdictions and regulatory agencies.
• Lead contract administration activities including change management, claims avoidance and resolution, risk management, and compliance with contract requirements.
• Establish and enforce project governance, reporting structures, and performance metrics consistent with rail standards and FTA / FRA requirements.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams including construction management, design support, quality assurance, safety, environmental compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
