Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior leader to drive delivery on major rail and transit programs in the Mid-Atlantic, leading projects end-to-end from pre-construction to handover. You will collaborate with executives across project controls, legal, regulators, and utilities while guiding bid pursuits and client engagements.

You’ll oversee multiple design-build contracts, manage budgets and risk, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with rail and transportation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 15 years of experience delivering large, complex construction, infrastructure, rail, or transit programs
• Minimum 10 years of experience in construction management, program management, or Owner’s Representative leadership
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading client relationships, business development, capture, or pursuit activities within transportation or infrastructure market

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery on major rail and transit programs while driving targeted business development in the Mid-Atlantic
• Provide executive leadership across pre-construction, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and closeout
• Lead capture efforts for PMC, construction management, and Owner’s Representative opportunities, shaping pursuit strategy and leading proposals and interviews
• Oversee multiple design-build and alternative delivery contracts, manage scope, schedule, budget, risk, change, claims, and contractual requirements
• Serve as a senior client advisor and liaison across executive leadership, project controls, legal, regulatory agencies, and utilities
• Direct multidisciplinary teams across construction management, design support, safety, quality, environmental compliance, and stakeholder coordination
• Establish project governance, reporting, and performance controls to surface risks and ensure rail, FTA, and FRA compliance
• Strengthen Accenture’s Mid-Atlantic market presence by engaging with WMATA, VRE, MARC/MDOT, DRPT, Amtrak, and other agencies
