Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Chantilly, VA seeks a Senior Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to join the Strategic Intelligence and Data Exploitation Operating unit on a 9/80 schedule. You will work with program managers, CAMs and business managers to provide financial support, prepare budgets and perform variance analyses.

The role requires strong Earned Value and cost performance skills, advanced Excel, and the ability to travel 10% domestically. U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of related professional experience or Master’s with 6 years
• 12 years of applied experience in lieu of degree
• Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis
• Experience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts and ability to apply them to multiple contracts, CLINs and control accounts.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting)
• Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
• US Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance

Responsibilities

• Provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements
• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist in financial analyses
• Monitor costs and schedules on contracts with validated cost schedule control systems
• Perform Earned Value management tasks and prepare reports
• Support audits, Annual Operating Plan, Resource Plan and Long Range Strategic Plan
• Prepare financial input to internal reports and presentations
