Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to partner with program stakeholders and deliver financial support across budgeting, scheduling, and forecasting. The role involves invoicing, EACs, IPRs, and variance analysis to ensure robust cost control.

The candidate will interact with program managers, CAMs, and business managers, develop budgets, and perform analyses to support funding profiles and cash forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8+ years of related professional experience or 6+ years with Master’s degree.
• Experience with cost performance reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting).
• Domestic travel up to 10% may be required.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Create and analyze financial reports and forecasts for programs.
• Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with EACs and IPRs.
• Perform Earned Value Management tasks and develop WBS and cost baselines.
• Ensure contracts stay within negotiated parameters and government guidelines.
• Support audits, annual operating and long-range plans, and internal reporting.
