Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst in San Diego, CA, for a full-time on-site role with a 9/80 work schedule. You will partner with program stakeholders, prepare budgets, and support earned value management activities.

You will analyze costs, forecasts, and schedules, ensure compliance with government cost control guidelines, and assist in audits. U.S. citizenship and Secret-level clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Earned Value Management experience.
• Experience with cost performance reporting and analysis.
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 10%.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Support Navigation, Intelligence, & Connectivity Division with budgeting and reporting.
• Create and analyze reports, assist with invoicing, and support EVMS tasks.
• Interface with program managers, CAMs, and business managers for financial support.
• Prepare budgets and schedules; analyze funding profiles, forecasts, and variances.
• Monitor costs and schedules on contracts with validated cost schedules.
• Perform Earned Value tasks (WBS, baseline, estimates to complete) and reports.
• Assist audits, support AOP/Resource Plan, and provide financial inputs to internal reports.
