Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL seeks a Principal Program Cost & Control Analyst to provide cost support for Aeronautics Sector programs. This onsite role requires a Secret clearance and experience with EVM and cost control.

You will set up cost controls, budgets, forecasts, and perform financial analyses while coordinating with cross-functional teams. The position offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a 9/80 schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in program control, cost planning, business, finance, budgeting and/or similar industry related fields OR a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in program control, cost planning, business, finance, budgeting and/or similar industry related fields.
• Experience in Government Contracting with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Experience using Earned Value Tools

Responsibilities

• Setting up cost control system, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
• Performing analyses and preparing reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters
• Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and performing financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
• Preparing program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
• Monitoring funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures and preparation of expenditure projections
• Monthly material and subcontract financial forecasting
• Incorporating contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic baselines
• Performing miscellaneous financial analysis including monthly financial reporting/forecasting and monthly EACs
• Continually assessing and improving financial reporting processes to enhance efficiencies
