Job summary

Housing Works seeks a Senior Program Coordinator to oversee all service and operational aspects of the DHS Special Populations Hotel, reporting to the Director of Social Services and the Managing Director of Hotel Programs. This role includes supervising the Operations Manager, Case Manager Supervisor, and Program Assistant, ensuring program goals and policies are followed.

Qualifications

• Bi-lingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Ability to work with the homeless migrant population.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide documented supervision and guidance to Operations Manager, Case Manager Supervisor and Program Assistant.
• Support the Director of Social Services in achieving program goals; manage daily operations; lead clinical and team meetings in the Director’s absence; oversee key projects.
• Coordinate regular team meetings with the Special Population Hotel Program’s Operations staff.
• Participate in recruitment of qualified staff; interview and make hire recommendations; assist with new-hire orientation.
• Act as program representative at community meetings; identify problems and seek solutions to maximize efficiency and uphold Housing Works’ values.
