Job summary

Housing Works in New York seeks the Special Populations Hotel Operations Manager to oversee all physical operations within the facility, including IT, Office Services, Purchasing, and meal distribution and inventory. The Operations Manager will liaise between the program and hotel staff and supervise five Residential Aide Supervisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Experience in social services settings dealing with HIV/AIDS, homelessness, mental health issues, or substance use.

Responsibilities

• The Operations Manager monitors operations throughout the program and looks for ways to increase productivity and lower expenses.
• The Operations Manager will be in direct contact with the Senior Program Coordinator, Director of Social Services, the Director of Hotel Programs, IT/Xerox, and other managers within the organization.
