Job summary

Fortinet is seeking a Professional Services Engineer to join our team to support end users and define daily activities for Fortinet products. The role focuses on delivering operational excellence, implementing configurations, and transferring knowledge to clients.

Responsibilities include testing, validation, and troubleshooting, with a strong emphasis on security and network technologies. Occasional client travel is expected as part of project engagements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in LAN/WAN / Internet consulting, support and/or administration.
• 5+ years experience with Network Security Products.
• 2+ years experience with Fortinet products.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience working independently and in teams; adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff with day-to-day Fortinet product operation and support.
• Develop MOPs for migrations, upgrades and updates.
• Develop test plans and test new features/releases.
• Verify configurations and implement best practices.
• Perform interoperability evaluation of devices interacting with Fortinet products.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client staff.
• Maintain core competency on Fortinet technologies and resolve/escalate issues promptly.
