Job summary

Fortinet is growing and seeking a Professional Services Engineer to join our team. This role centers on working directly with end users to define daily activities and ensure Fortinet product operations run smoothly.

You will support client staff, develop MOPs, test plans, and configurations while building expertise in Fortinet technologies. Occasional travel and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support or administration.
• 5+ years of experience with Network Security Products.
• 2+ years with Fortinet products.
• Solid understanding of security and networking principles and technologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist client staff with Fortinet product operation and support.
• Develop methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and updates.
• Develop test plans and verify new features or releases.
• Verify configurations and implement best practices.
• Perform interoperability evaluation of devices interacting with Fortinet products.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to client staff.
• Maintain core competency on Fortinet technologies.
• Resolves or escalates issues promptly.
