Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Test Engineer to join the onsite team in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on validating hardware against technical data packages, troubleshooting test failures, and maintaining test equipment—critical to meeting production flow and quality targets.

You will lead test-process improvements, manage obsolescence plans, and drive cost estimates for capacity expansion. A STEM degree with at least two years’ experience and the ability to obtain ATF access are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical/electronic testing.
• Ability to obtain and maintain ATF access.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and provides rework instructions for product hardware.
• Maintains spares and test equipment obsolescence plans.
• Creates Basis of Estimates (BOE) for capacity and equipment needs.
• Leads projects to reduce test time and improve yields.
• Develops test flows and analyzes capacity.
• Maintains test data and equipment documentation.
• Assists in fault isolation, diagnosis, and repair.
• Leads root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Performs risk assessments and supports risk reviews.
• Executes projects and multitasks in a fast-paced environment.
