Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Production Test Engineer for the 2nd shift to support test processes from development through production and depot.

The role requires a STEM degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, plus electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills. Ability to obtain/maintain ATF access and DoD Secret clearance is required. RTX offers relocation eligibility and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical/electronic troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and provides accurate rework instructions for product hardware.
• Create and maintain spares and test equipment obsolescence plan.
• Create Basis of Estimates (BOE) for costs to add capacity, new capabilities, and equipment obsolescence.
• Lead projects to reduce test time and improve test processes using predictive metrics.
• Develop test flows and contribute to test capacity analysis.
• Maintain test equipment data packages including drawings and manuals.
• Assist in non-routine fault isolation, diagnosis and repair.
• Lead root cause investigations and present findings with fault trees.
