Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Sr Associate to support our Wealth Management division, collaborating with Application Development teams to implement business solutions in an agile setting. You will manage production incidents, work with offshore and onshore teams, and ensure compliance with security and audit requirements.

Ideal candidates have 5–6+ years in app development/support, strong communication, and experience with cloud and multi-channel systems.

Qualifications

• 5–6+ years of application development/support experience with modern frameworks.
• Experience with multi-channel applications (web, mobile, API).
• Experience in Agile/XP environments and DevOps/SRE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead production stability by preventing issues and improving stability.
• Track and manage incidents, changes, and problems for assigned applications.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on incident progress and SLA risks.
• Identify measures to improve application stability and availability.
• Develop SME for assigned application domain.
• Troubleshoot production issues via monitoring and logs.
• Participate in regular project meetings to discuss issues and releases.
• Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams and manage third-party providers.
• Attend on-call shifts including weekends to support critical issues.
• Collaborate with vendors and support staff to resolve tickets.
