Northern Trust is seeking a Production Support Engineer to join our Wealth Management technology teams in Chicago. The role focuses on managing production issues, driving stability, and collaborating with application development squads to deliver reliable financial services solutions.
The ideal candidate has 5–8+ years of experience with Java and cloud technologies, strong communication, and a proven ability to work in an Agile environment, including on-call duties during weekends or after hours.

This role will support our Wealth Management business, product , operations, partners and clients . As a support lead you will collaborate with Application Development teams to implement business solution through agile practice and manage production issues. The ideal candidates will possess excellent leadership and communication skills coupled with a solid understanding of modern cloud technologies preferably in the financial sector. Critical incident may require weekend and/or after hours support.

$114,500 - 194,700 USD
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
