Job summary

CTDI is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to coordinate and lead production teams in our New Jersey facility. You will schedule tasks, monitor KPIs, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while maintaining strong customer relations.

In this role you will drive lean improvements, manage manpower planning, and participate in P&L forecasting and reporting, with a focus on meeting daily goals and corporate standards.

Qualifications

• 4-5+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Capable problem-solving and decision-making with focus on results and continuous improvement.
• Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities with clear verbal and written communication.
• Capacity to engage with customers professionally and confidently.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• General knowledge of OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, or package goods for shipment.
• Schedule and assign tasks to workers, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily KPIs, with accurate reporting that meets customer expectations.
• Responsible for workforce planning and manpower forecasting to align staffing with goals and objectives.
• Deliver clear information during shift transition meetings to prepare the next shift for success.
• Provide escalation support during shifts and assist in issue resolution.
• Maintain consistent production quality by monitoring performance metrics.
• Communicate with management and customers to ensure SLAs are met and issues are resolved.
• Engage in employee relations initiatives to maintain a positive work environment.
• Assist in P&L forecasting and labor planning and scheduling.
• Prepare and administer daily performance feedback and reporting.
