Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a dynamic, multi-shift production environment. You will supervise a team of Production Supervisors, align staff to achieve daily targets, and drive continuous improvement across yields, safety, and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, SAP/MS Office proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 10%. Relocation package may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading and mentoring staff or managing a process/project.
• Experience using time-keeping systems, SAP and MS Office to streamline processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational efficiency and profitability by monitoring yields, efficiencies, staffing, and production schedules.
• Champion safety and ergonomics through training and program implementation.
• Ensure sanitation, quality, and regulatory compliance (USDA) with standard operating procedures.
• Lead training of supervisors and employees on policies; drive continuous improvement.
• Provide strong leadership and guidance on the production floor to keep teams motivated and aligned.
