Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a multi‑shift operation, coordinating a team of Supervisors to meet daily targets and deliver high‑quality products on schedule.

You will drive safety, ergonomics and sanitation programs, monitor yields and efficiency, and provide guidance on plant policies to keep production smooth and compliant.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, experience with SAP and MS Office, and up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience leading staff or projects and coaching less experienced team members.
• Proficiency with SAP and MS Office to streamline processes and productivity.
• Willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily and weekly yields, efficiencies and profitability with corrective actions as needed.
• Manage staffing and production schedules to meet customer needs and optimize resources.
• Develop and implement safety, ergonomics and sanitation programs for a safe workplace.
• Uphold quality standards and USDA/regulatory compliance through line meetings.
• Lead training for supervisors and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
