Job summary

Pindrop is hiring a Senior Production Support Engineer to own complex production issues, lead Sev1 incident response, and partner with Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to improve platform reliability.

The role requires strong API knowledge, cloud experience, and excellent English communication in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Remote-first with weekend on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in production support or similar.
• Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Advanced English with strong written/verbal communication.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or similar.
• Familiarity with Linux, databases, and scripting.
• Experience using cloud-based ticketing/incident tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot end-to-end.
• Mentoring and coaching experience.
• Ownership mindset in incident management.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own resolution of complex production issues and lead Sev1 incident response.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success for deployments and post-launch support.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes to improve reliability.
• Serve as SME for Pindrop’s platform including APIs and integrations.
• Monitor production health and recommend automation/preventive improvements.
• Create and maintain technical runbooks and post-incident reports.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including after-hours support.
