Job summary

Panasonic Energy in De Soto, Kansas, is seeking a Production Manager to lead multiple production lines in a 24/7 high‑volume facility, driving safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity. This role oversees end‑to‑end manufacturing performance and aligns with Lean principles and SQDCP metrics.

The position requires strong leadership of Production Supervisors, capacity planning, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast‑paced environment outside Kansas City.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
5+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in a high‑volume, 24/7 environment.
Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, FactoryTalk).
Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Own manufacturing performance across assigned production lines, achieving safety, quality, cost, delivery, and productivity targets.
Lead and develop Production Supervisors for effective daily execution of production plans.
Drive Lean manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align on strategic priorities.
