Job summary

Panasonic Energy is expanding in De Soto, Kansas, building what will be the world’s largest lithium-ion battery factory. We seek a Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient shift operations in a high-volume, 24/7 environment, driving SQDCP metrics and a culture of accountability.

You will develop the team, implement standardized work, and collaborate with manufacturing and process engineers to push continuous improvement and meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in a high-volume, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to train and develop teams and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shift operations to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Ensure development and adherence to Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs).
• Plan and assign work schedules, tasks, and priorities for team members.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and 6S initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead cross-functional problem solving and data-driven decision making.
