Panasonic Energy in De Soto, Kansas, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing shift. You will drive Lean initiatives, ensure standardized work, and manage cross-functional problem solving to achieve targets in safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will develop the team, coach for performance, and partner with HR on employee relations while maintaining rigorous safety and production standards in a world-class lithium-ion battery facility.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in a technical discipline; relevant work experience may substitute.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or higher is preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive leadership in a high-volume manufacturing environment; 2+ years as PECNA Process Lead (preferred).
• Lean, 6S, and continuous improvement focus; strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Ensure adherence to Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs).
• Plan and assign schedules and priorities for team members.
• Drive Lean and 6S initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Support PFMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis with engineers.
• Train and onboard new employees on SOPs, SWIs, and safety.
• Coach and develop team members; collaborate with HR on performance issues.
• Monitor safety and quality and ensure compliance with standards.

Formação académica

Associate’s degree in a technical discipline

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Operations Management / Industrial Engineering

Six Sigma Green Belt or higher

OSHA 30-Hour General Industry
