Panasonic Energy in De Soto, Kansas, is hiring a Senior Production Manager to lead multiple production departments in a 24/7 high‑volume facility. You’ll drive safety, quality, cost, delivery and productivity, and own end‑to‑end performance for a major value stream with a focus on Lean transformation.

You’ll mentor Production Managers, shape capacity planning, and partner with cross‑functional teams to execute capital plans and production ramp‑ups, contributing to the world’s largest lithium‑ion

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience in high-volume 24/7 environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certifications encouraged.
• Proven ability to manage safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing performance across multiple production departments and value streams.
• Lead and develop Production Managers; oversee long-range capacity planning.
• Manage budgets, cost structures, and capital planning support.
• Drive Lean transformation, cost reduction, and productivity initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to optimize performance.
• Provide risk assessments and reporting to plant leadership and executives.
