Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is expanding to De Soto, Kansas, building a major lithium‑ion battery factory. The Production Supervisor will lead safe, high‑volume, 24/7 shift operations, driving performance against SQDCP metrics and fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

The role requires 3+ years of leadership in manufacturing, strong Lean/6S knowledge, and excellent problem solving.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field; relevant experience may substitute.
• Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines is preferred.
• Six Sigma, OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification is desirable.
• 3+ years leadership in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Lean, 6S, problem solving, and strong communication are essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily shift operations to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Ensure adherence to Standardized Work Instructions (SWIs) and development of staff.
• Plan schedules, assign tasks, and coordinate cross-functional problem solving.
• Drive Lean initiatives, PFMEA, risk mitigation, and control plan compliance.
• Coach and mentor team members, ensure safety and quality standards.
