Panasonic Energy is expanding an onsite lithium-ion battery manufacturing operation in De Soto, Kansas, seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer III to drive process improvements and lead cross‑functional teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage medium‑sized projects, and apply advanced problem‑solving to optimize throughput, yield, and safety in a high‑volume environment.

Competenze

• 4+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to operate with limited supervision and lead complex technical initiatives
• Proven experience leading medium-sized projects with scope, schedule, and results
• Deep understanding of manufacturing systems, equipment, and process optimization
• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to mentor junior engineers
• Must have working-level English proficiency

Mansioni

• Lead medium-sized process improvement, equipment upgrades, or automation projects with defined scope, budgets, and timelines
• Develop, validate, and maintain manufacturing standards and documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Controls, and Engineering
• Present technical updates, risk assessments, and recommendations to management and stakeholders
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety policies
