Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Electrical Team Lead to guide an engineering team on a production program in Tucson. You will mentor 10–15 engineers, drive technical excellence, and collaborate across Operations, Quality, and other engineering disciplines to resolve issues in production, testing, and integration.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, strong PCB/FPGA/firmware experience, and proven leadership in cross-functional environments. On-site 1st shift with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related STEM field and 8+ years of experience.
• RF, analog, digital, mixed-signal design or analysis; FPGA integration preferred.
• Production engineering involving missile hardware design/analysis and root cause investigations.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical Team on a Production Program and mentor 10–15 engineers.
• Provide technical support, ensure task execution with rigor and training.
• Coordinate with team lead for prioritization across functions.
• Participate in design reviews, testing, validation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other engineering groups to resolve issues during production and testing.
• Travel <25% annually; 1st shift, onsite.
