Job summary

Dow in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to optimize plant operations, resolve issues, and drive safe, cost-efficient production of quality products. You will coordinate with the operations and supply chain, apply technical knowledge, and lead on-call responses to maintain performance.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, at least 3 years of experience, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; chemical or mechanical preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience required.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship is available.

Responsibilities

• Translates business production needs into plant production goals.
• Coordinates with Integrated Supply Chain for production planning and shipping.
• Determines shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, Operations, Maintenance and others.
• Coaches plant personnel on measurement tools and performance records.
• Works with operations team and SMEs to optimize plant performance.
• Ensures MET is understood and utilized; applies process automation for optimization.
