Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Production Engineer to optimize plant operations and lead safe, cost-efficient production. The role interfaces with Operations and Supply Chain to meet business goals, applying technical knowledge and data-driven decision making.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of experience in production engineering, a degree in engineering, and the ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Translate business production goals into plant production goals.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain for planning and shipping.
• Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, Ops, Maintenance and others.
• Coach plant personnel on metrics and daily performance updates.
• Work with operations to apply problem-solving and technical expertise.
• Ensure MET understanding and use of process automation to optimize performance.
• Lead troubleshooting and implement corrective actions during events.
• Document root causes of asset utilization losses.
