Job summary

Dow is hiring a Senior Production Engineer in Knoxville, TN to optimize plant operations and enable safe, efficient production of high-quality products. The role interfaces with Supply Chain to align production planning, materials, and shipping while driving continuous improvement and compliance.

Candidates need a bachelor's in engineering (chemical or mechanical preferred) and at least 3 years of relevant experience; U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in engineering is required; chemical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• U.S. work authorization required; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Translate business production goals into plant production objectives.
• Coordinate with Integrated Supply Chain for production planning, shipping, and materials.
• Determine shutdown timing with Supply Chain, Turnaround, Operations and maintenance teams.
• Coach plant personnel on measurement tools and performance records (KPI/logbook/alarm histories).
• Collaborate with operations teams and SMEs to optimize plant performance and drive root-cause analyses.
