Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Production Electrical Team Lead for our Tucson-area production program. You will lead a team of 10–15 engineers, perform cross-functional coordination, design reviews, and ensure rigorous technical execution on schedule.

This onsite role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a STEM degree with 8+ years of experience, and travel less than 25%. RTX offers relocation assistance, a 9/80 schedule, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years’ prior relevant experience
• RF, analog, digital, and or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and or digital signal processing, debugging, failure investigations. Knowledge of FPGA integration and implementation preferred.
• Production engineering experience involving design, analysis, fabrication, or troubleshooting of missile hardware, including systematic problem solving, failure investigations or Root Cause and Corrective Action.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills creating and presenting technical content to cross-functional peers, leaders, suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Production Electrical Team Lead on a Production Program leading the Electrical Team while supporting cross functional teams in a matrixed organization.
• Provide technical support of 10-15 engineers, with a focus placed on engineering task execution, technical rigor, mentorship and training, etc.
• Coordinate with Electrical Team Lead for cross-functional prioritization.
• Direct involvement with and or support of design reviews, schedule risk, red rack burn down, supplier coordination, documentation, compliance, testing and validation, peer reviews and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration.
• Travel Requirements: less than 25% annually.
• Shift Information: 1st shift, onsite.
