Job summary

RTX, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks a Production Electrical Team Lead for a Tucson-based program. You will guide the electrical team, mentor engineers, and ensure rigorous design, testing, and documentation in a matrix environment.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering with 5+ years of missile hardware experience and strong cross-functional communication. Onsite 1st shift; travel <25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• RF/analog/digital/mixed-signal design, analysis, or debugging; FPGA integration preferred.
• Production engineering experience with missile hardware design, failure investigations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead as Production Electrical Team Lead on a production program.
• Provide technical support to 5–10 engineers, including mentorship.
• Coordinate cross-functionally for prioritization and design reviews.
• Support testing, documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other disciplines.
• Travel less than 25% annually; 1st shift, onsite.
