Job summary

WesBanco Bank Inc. seeks an AVP & Operations Product Owner to lead the full roadmap, backlog and day-to-day direction for designated business and technology work sets. You will prioritize within the roadmap, refine needs with stakeholders, and ensure delivery of value while partnering with IT, business units and vendors.

You will act as the voice of the customer, align priorities, and guide cross-functional teams to maintain quality and timely delivery in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in product ownership, business analysis, technology, operations or related discipline.
• Experience supporting technology, operational, or business initiatives; exposure to Agile/Scrum is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and iterative delivery practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads backlog refinement, delivery planning and stakeholder alignment within the approved roadmap.
• Coordinates work across business, technology, vendor, and functional teams; communicates progress and risks.
• Manages lifecycle of support applications including roadmaps, releases, upgrades and defect tracking.
• Opens and tracks support tickets and feature requests.
• Tests new functionality and documents test plans with the business area.
