Job summary

Yambay is seeking a Product Manager for Utilities to lead engagement with North American electric utilities, shaping the roadmap and translating field insights into scalable enterprise software. Qualifications

• Current, personal relationships with operations, control-room, outage or grid-modernization personnel across several large NA electric utilities.
• Experience across multiple utilities and/or states with understanding of operations, regulation and field practice.
• Domain knowledge in field service, network operations, asset management in NA utilities.
• Experience in Product Management/Ownership building enterprise software with sequencing and scoping; trade-off calls.
• Partnering with software engineering teams through product lifecycle.
• Ability to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
• Experience communicating market and customer needs into product capabilities for teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap, translating goals into a sequenced set of product changes with dependencies and resources.
• Re-plan as reality moves; adjust plan early with clear reasoning.
• Engage the industry on your own initiative, building relationships with utility operations staff and regulatory stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Customer Success and Product Analysis teams to balance market truth with live account realities.
• Influence strategic product direction, architecture, and marketing collateral.
