The role focuses on shaping product strategy, portfolio development, and market opportunities to drive safety-focused innovations for utility professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience within the electric utility industry.
• Proven success in product management, product marketing, or related strategic roles.
• Deep understanding of electric utility operations, safety standards, and customer buying processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and training skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally to launch and commercialize products.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the industry and customer network.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic product plans for the Electric Utility Division.
• Identify new market opportunities and product enhancements through customer engagement and industry research.
• Lead product lifecycle management activities, from concept and development through commercialization and growth.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing market success.
• Build relationships with utility customers, safety professionals, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market intelligence to identify industry trends and emerging opportunities.
• Support product training, customer presentations, and industry events.
• Drive portfolio growth while balancing customer needs, profitability, and long-term strategic objectives.
