Job summary

3-GIS is seeking a Product Manager for Utilities to strengthen our position in the utilities market by collaborating with customers, sales, and cross-functional teams. You will translate real-world problems into product requirements and evolve an existing product suite with a strong customer focus.

Your work involves capturing customer needs, guiding cross-functional teams, and ensuring that utilities workflows are reflected in product capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, consulting, or a customer-facing technical role.
• 5+ years of working knowledge of electric utility network operations including GIS for asset management, field operations, and network documentation.
• Experience translating customer requirements into technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary product contact for utilities customers and understand their workflows.
• Capture, refine, and document requirements for existing customizations.
• Translate customer implementations into scalable product capabilities with engineering.
• Define acceptance criteria and verify delivered features meet standards.
• Prioritize enhancements, defects, and customer-driven initiatives with Product Owners.
