Job summary

ZipRecruiter is seeking a product leader to own the job seeker messaging portfolio across emails, alerts, and on-site prompts. You will decide which message types exist, when they are sent, and how to balance volume with user trust, working closely with data science and engineering.

You will focus on deliverability, compliance, and opt-in systems, measure impact across applications, activations, and revenue, and collaborate with marketplace teams to optimize supply and demand.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management with proven results.

Responsibilities

• Own the job seeker messaging portfolio from KPI setting to performance.
• Lead which messages exist, when they run, and how many.
• Track metrics like deliveries, activations, unsubscribes and revenue.
• Design and run experiments, interpreting long-term impact.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, design, and GTM teams.
• Ensure deliverability, sender reputation, and compliance.
• Represent job seeker voice in off-platform touchpoints.
