ZipRecruiter is seeking a Product Manager to own the job seeker messaging portfolio within a hybrid US-based role. You will decide which messages exist, who receives them, and when, balancing volume, trust, and retention.

You’ll collaborate daily with data science, ML, engineering, and go-to-market teams to drive employer outcomes. Your responsibilities include setting portfolio KPIs, optimizing message types and frequencies, running experiments, and protecting deliverability and compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience with measurable results.
• Data-driven with SQL and A/B testing experience.
• Experience with email, push, or lifecycle messaging at consumer scale.
• Experience leveraging AI/ML for ranking, relevance, or recommendations.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own the job seeker messaging domain, from portfolio-level KPI setting to details of individual message performance.
• Lead the thinking behind which messages to send, when, and how many, and via which channels.
• Design experiments and analyze results to inform long-term business health.
• Partner with engineering, data science, design, and go-to-market teams to drive outcomes.
• Protect the channel with deliverability, sender reputation, and compliance focus.
