Job summary

Hippo Insurance is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the Insurance Products charter, including rating and pricing engine logic, coverage rules, and the supporting infrastructure powering risk and profitability. You’ll drive multi-year direction while leading day-to-day execution across engineering, insurance, and compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management with end-to-end lifecycle ownership.
• Experience building or owning platform-level products (rules engines, pricing/rating engines, configuration systems).
• Proven cross-functional leadership with executive alignment and delivery impact.
• Strong stakeholder management and clear communication across business and tech teams.
• Data-driven decision making with measurable outcomes and KPI governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and own multi-year strategy for Hippo’s Insurance Products platform—covering rating, pricing, coverage, deductibles, discounts, and eligibility.
• Identify opportunities to modernize the platform to improve speed-to-market, profitability, and risk mitigation.
• Shape prioritization and roadmaps with product, engineering, and business leadership.
