Job summary

Hippo Insurance is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the Insurance Products platform, including rating, pricing, and eligibility logic. You will drive multi-year strategy and oversee end-to-end lifecycle with a cross-functional team, delivering platform-level improvements that impact speed, profitability, and risk.

You’ll collaborate with Insurance, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering to ensure compliant, auditable changes while shaping the roadmap to keep Hippo competitive and profitable

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience owning backlog and leading end-to-end lifecycle with a team of engineers.
• Proven track record building platform-level products (rules engines, pricing/rating engines) and driving large-scale improvements.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year strategy and vision for Hippo’s Insurance Products platform, including rating, pricing, coverages, and rules.
• Own end-to-end lifecycle: discovery, prioritization, requirements, delivery, and post-launch monitoring.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with Insurance, Legal/Compliance, Operations, and Engineering to meet timelines and risk controls.
• Translate insights into clear requirements and KPIs, partnering with Engineering, Design, and Data to ship platform solutions.
