Job summary

Trane Technologies plc is seeking a Sr. Product Manager – Controls Service Agreements to lead our controls service agreement products, projects, and initiatives across the Americas.

You will own revenue growth targets, market share expansion, and margin improvement, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver results. Ideal candidates bring HVAC/BAS experience, strategic vision, executive presence, and strong communication skills, with the ability to influence in a remote/work-from-home

Qualifications

• 5 years of combined experience in sales, marketing, P&L leadership, and/or product management.
• HVAC and BAS/controls experience or knowledge of building systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage tradeoffs between short- and long-term product performance with revenue, margin and market share goals.
• Oversee day-to-day needs of controls services offerings and identify profitable growth opportunities.
• Support industry, market, and competitor analyses with segmentation of end users and customers.
• Develop and execute the product plan for connected controls / BAS services and pricing strategies.
• Lead business cases for New Product Development with clear revenue and margin impact.
• Collaborate with service, controls, digital, and equipment product managers to align with broader strategy.
• Work with market research to define customer needs and requirements for product lines.
• Review pricing and offer structures to meet customer needs while considering inflation and market trends.
• Influence stakeholders and drive alignment in remote and in-person settings.
• Demonstrate servant leadership and problem-solving in a highly collaborative environment.
