Trane Technologies in the United States seeks an experienced Product Engineer to join our Controls Product Management team. You will serve as a technical product expert, bridging development and field offices to ensure our building controls are easy to apply, install, and support.

Your focus will be on driving field outreach, authoring high-impact technical literature, leading product training initiatives, and actively managing the enhancement pipeline to elevate customer experience and product

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with 3–5+ years in HVAC/building automation/controls
• Strong understanding of commercial building automation systems (BAS), control sequences, IT networks, and communication protocols
• Ability to analyze technical customer requests, evaluate feasibility, and translate field needs into engineering requirements
• Exceptional written skills with clear, concise technical documentation and user-friendly guides
• Experience developing and delivering technical training curricula and product demonstrations
• Collaborative team player who bridges software/hardware engineering with commercial/customer-facing teams

Aufgaben

• Provide advanced application support and engineering guidance to field offices, sales channels, and customers
• Own and prioritize the product enhancement and feature request pipeline with Product Managers and R&D
• Author, review, and maintain high-quality technical literature and installation manuals
• Design and deliver technical training programs, demonstrations, and troubleshooting workshops
• Lead pilot testing and field outreach during NPI phases to optimize new offerings
• Monitor field issues and coordinate with engineering and QA to drive rapid resolutions
