Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for Controls Service Agreements to lead product strategy and execution across the Americas. This role focuses on growing revenue, expanding margins, and standardizing service offerings in the HVAC controls space.

You will engage cross-functionally to deliver strategic impact and executive-ready communication. The position supports remote collaboration, requires strong market insight, and offers a compelling compensation package with benefits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience required.
• MBA or equivalent preferred.
• 5 years of combined experience in sales, marketing, P&L leadership, and/or product management.
• HVAC and BAS/controls experience, knowledge of building systems operation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong negotiation and executive presence.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and work effectively in remote/virtual settings.

Responsibilities

• Manage tradeoffs between short- and long-term product performance in revenue, margin, and market share.
• Oversee day-to-day needs of controls services offerings and identify profitable growth opportunities.
• Support industry, market, and competitor analyses with detailed segmentation of customers.
• Develop and execute the product plan for connected controls / BAS services and ensure value proposition supports strategy.
• Lead and support New Product Development with clear revenue and margin impact.
• Collaborate with service, controls, digital, and equipment PMs to align strategy across functions.
• Define customer requirements with market research and align offerings accordingly.
• Review pricing, policies, and service features to meet customer needs.
