Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to lead content standards, taxonomy, and AI-enabled workflows. You will work with content BU teams to rebuild production processes, guide taxonomy design, and measure quality improvements across content platforms.

You will mentor other PMs, drive continuous discovery, and partner with engineering, editorial, and design to deliver high-impact content solutions. Strong communication and industry expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of product management experience in content, publishing, or content platform domains.
• Hands-on ownership of content standards work: taxonomy and metadata design, quality frameworks, structured content.
• Direct experience with authoring, production, and delivery platforms (CMS, DAM, LCMS).
• Personally built and shipped substantive content systems work as the owning PM, including with current AI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Embed the standards spine inside real business unit work with global quality data standards and metadata accuracy.
• Redesign and shorten production workflows with teams to reduce handoffs and rework.
• Design and deliver training anchored in Pearson’s content problems and measure outcomes.
• Build AI fluency across the content talent base and identify automation opportunities.
• Maintain a clear perspective on where AI helps content work and where it does not.
