Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to lead content workflow improvements and standards across business units. You will shape taxonomy, metadata, and production platforms, working alongside content leaders to deliver measurable quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates will bring deep product experience in content domains, hands-on ownership of content systems, and a track record implementing AI tooling within content platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Seven or more years of product management experience in content, publishing, or content platform domains.
• Hands-on ownership of content standards work: taxonomy, metadata, quality frameworks, structured content.
• Experience with authoring, production, and delivery platforms (CMS, DAM, LCMS; XML-based content) and at least one migration.
• Built and shipped substantive content systems work as owning PM, including with current AI tooling.
• Experience in empowered product teams where outcomes drive ownership and value-centric planning.
• Proven track record in continuous discovery (generative and evaluative) with concrete outcomes.
• Experience coaching PMs and leaders without alienating them.
• Strong written and verbal communication for technical and senior audiences.
• Comfort with switching between hands-on execution and coaching.

• Implement the standards spine inside real business unit work with global quality data standards, taxonomy, and 95% metadata accuracy.
• Redesign and shorten production workflows by reducing handoffs and rework.
• Collaborate with content leaders to align strategy and craft with business goals.
• Guide teams to high-quality plans and content artifacts traceable to learner jobs and business outcomes.
• Design and deliver training anchored in real content problems at Pearson.
• Contribute to content job family and community of practice as a useful resource.
• Build AI fluency across content teams and demonstrate practical value.
• Identify manual tasks worth automating and prototype automation with measurable impact.
• Introduce evaluation, telemetry, and human-in-the-loop design to AI-assisted content generation and quality assurance.
